Hello

I'm just another user, trying to make a way in graphics and related

I like the combination of the "orange" and "brown".

Is the recreation of an existing logo, Is for a client, as an exercise, or for your portfolio?

Forcing the critical side:
-I find that there are 2 styles here: the "freehand" text, and the "mathematical. geometric" sun. There I think that may be a contradiction.
- When the letters intersect the sun, probably, a problem of visualization occur. Try to duplicate the text, scale or offset it more, fill it with the colour of the background, and put it behind the text, to simulate an "outline" at the moment the text cross the sun.
If you have problems:
1.- Post a sample (or samples) of your file please.
2.- Please check here:

3.- If you manage to solve your problem, please post here your solution.

I like the logo !
The orange is good, choosing a dark brown instead of black for the BG is great and the textcolour is nice too.

I like the contrast of the geometrical nature of the sun versus the handwritten font.

What i dont like so much is the position of the text - i think it clashes a bit with the tips of the triangles.
Also i would write California with a capital C (or just bigger).
You may also want to edit the points where the letters are connecting, because you can see some "bumps" there.
