A tiny atom smasher?

Postby brynn » Mon Nov 03, 2008 7:54 am

Hi Friends,
Just foolin' around with my spirograms again  . One reason I enjoy them so much is because when I look at them, I see different things in them (like naming the shapes of clouds). Then I find it a challenge to try to create whatever it is that I see using Inkscape. I really enjoy abstract art!

In this case, I saw a circular hollow tube...like an old fashioned tire innertube with slashes in it. And after I had made a tube that I liked, my imagination conjured up this tiny atom smasher  I don't think real partical accelerators have viewing windows like this one, though :P

This is very kewl. Peering through the peices reminds of C-3PO's torso beneath his plating in the original movies :)
