Hi. I have created a graphic that is all typography elements. I saved the graphic as .svg, then uploaded it to my website for use as a masthead. The problem is that on my website, some of the type appears, but not other type elements.

I’m having the same kind of problem with a different file, one that is made up of an image and some typography. On my website, the image appears but not the type.

Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong? Thanks for your help! Bob

Do you happen to use flowed text in your graphic?
If so, you need to convert it to Normal Text (Text -> Convert to Text) first.

Thank you so much, Moini. That solved problem #1. It looks great now.

I tried to apply the "convert to text" solution to problem #2 (image appears, but no type), and now the type appears but no image. Do I need to do something with the image so that it exports?

Did you embed or link the image file when importing it? If it is only linked, moving the svg file somewhere else may kill the connection, because your computer cannot find the image any more in the specified place. Right-click on the image inside Inkscape to change that (selet 'embed image' in the context menu).

If that was not the problem, you may want to upload your file here so we can take a look.
