Inkscape really rules!
Inkscape really rules!
I have never tried Inkscape before, but decided to give it a shoot. This is what I came up with. I used between 30 and 40 hours, getting used to the Inkscape way.
Hope you enjoy it.

Very nice work. I like how you have a block stroke to all your objects such as on the bumper bar. It's something I wouldn't have done so they blended together more, but your way looks really good. I also really like the slight gaps between the lines and the filled areas -- again it's something I would have corrected in my own work, but I really like the effect.
Note that I suspect those white gaps are because you've used . If in future work you don't want the slight gap you read a technique for how at the Inkscape Guide • FAQs • Inkscape Mailing List • Report a bug or request a feature

Re: Inkscape really rules!
Thank you for your kind reply microUgly. I really appreciate the feedback, and certainly tips and tricks on how to improve my work.
Yes, you are right about the wrong date. It's a year wrong, the correct is of course 2009. Mentally it seems I'm still in 2008. I do the same thing when saving backups etc.
Anyway, I am impressed with the power Inkscape have. I really think this application is capable of some truly amazing pictures, judging from the posts on the forum.
