OpenType Palette

Postby Socialite » Tue Dec 04, 2012 11:02 am

I just purchased a beautiful font to use for weddings but I cannot access the additional beginnings and endings (swishes, swirls, calligraphy) through Inkscape. Is there anyway I can access these in Inkscape without having to have an Adobe product?

Thank you!

I guess it's beautiful, but I guess you'll have to know exactly what the unicode numbers are for your swishes and stuff in order to access them. Typing in ALT+number should show them on screen, but Inkscape doesn't display the whole character set of a font. Try that with traditional Chinese.. 180.000 characters on your screen. Alternatively, putting them in a pdf first and then using that in Inkscape should solve the problem as well.
