Hello,
I have some objects, and I would like change the layer of them.
For now, I cut the object, and past it in the new layer.
But it not appear at the same place, so I need to move it and adjust the position again.
Is there a tips to change the layer of an object and keep his position.
Thanks for your help
Chris

Re: Change the layer of an object
Hi.
Ctrl+Alt+V places in place.
Also you can use duplicating the object (Ctrl+D) and
moving it from layer to layer (Shift+PgUp/PgDown) instead.

Re: Change the layer of an object
Inkscape 0.91 has a new command to move objects to a different layer (not limited to the one above or below) - please check the 'Layer' menu for 'Move selection to Layer...', as well as the context menu of selected objects on-canvas ('Move to layer...').
