Hi,
I'm using a dev version of Inkscape on my (intel) Mac. I wanted to do some of the things in the Effects menu, but when I click on something, I get a message which says, "The fantabulous lxml wrapper for libxml2 is required by inkex_lxml.py and therefore this extension. Please download the latest version from <http://cheeseshop.python.org/pypi/lxml/>," or similar. I went to the Inkscape download page, downloaded the python, extracted the folders and put them in the appropriate folder (according to the dmg file), but that didn't help. Even when I have everything set as a path, it happens. What am I doing wrong? By the way, I'm not sure what file to download from the website it gave; is the one on Inkscape.com not good enough? What is the exact file I need to download for Intel Mac running Tiger, and where exactly should I put the files? Anything else I should know?
