First of all, I am sorry!! I read the FAQ and could not find the answer I am looking for. I tried searching the archives as well, but I am pretty sure that you all are not speaking english, because I couldn't understand one darned thing.
Anyways, I am a scrapbooker and I was told to download this program so that I can draw my own SVG file to use with a program called Sure Cuts Alot. it works in conjuction with the Cricut DieCutting machine. There are a few other application that I would like to use the program for......but I need to download and learn the program first.
Now to my problem. I have NO IDEA which version to download.
I have a PC, with Vista. So I clicked on both of these links: Windows — .exe installer, 7zip
The first one did nothing at all.
The second one gave me these options:

I chose the first option just because it was the newest.
And I got all of these options:

I downloaded the 2nd option, panther. Then I went to where I had saved it and I couldn't open it. It did nothing.
I have spent the last hour and a half trying to figure this out on my own, so that I didn't have to come on here and look like a total idiot. But I have NO IDEA how to even download the program.
So can someone please help me.

The first link should have given you a pop window. With a yes or no option. What browser are you using? Maybe a pop up block stopped the window form appearing. If you down load a a file with .gz .bz2 .7z you will need a utility to decompress those version. With a .exe it will unpack it self. But you still need to hit yes on a pop up window.

I think you best bet is to figure out why you are not seeing the pop up window to say yes to the downloading.

Oh okay!! Normally I get a little thing at the top that says "pop up blocked" but that didn't happen. Now that I know what the problem is, I will keep trying. Maybe temporarily turn off the pop up blocker and see what happens.
