Hello,

I was wondering if someone knows, if there is a way to measure the average colour within an object? I have an underlying photo, draw a line around an area of interest and want to color that new object with the average colour within this objects boundaries. The closest I have gotten is using the eyedropper tool, holding it and creating a circle that takes the average, but the whole area would be preferable since most of the time object isn't circular.
