At first, sorry for my bad english!

I really like Inkscape and working with Inkscape is really nice, but there is one thing I don't really get in my head.

How I can adjust a max. Distance for the knots / node? I mean, for example when I create a logo, it always have some ugly "dents"...

Just a simple example, I wish to create this logo:



If I made this with this tool my result looks like that (overdone!):



Cause I can't observe all knots / node it always have some "dents", coz my logos are complex

So, is their a way that I could fix the "dents", i hope their is tool that reduce or expand the Distance of the knots / node to chosen maximum???

I hope you understand what I want to say....

Just draw it as a line with a thick stroke. Once you're satisfied with the shape you can convert it to path if you like (path->object to path).

If you do use the pen tool, make sure you just click rather than click/drag, and the line segments will stay straight, and then if you hold ctrl the lines will snap to angles so you can keep em vert/horiz easier.

Your problem is the basics of using Inkscape. I recommend you read the Inkscape Guide to get a good understanding of how to use Inkscape.

Since he was able to create the first example, I'm pretty sure he knows how to draw a rectangle with the rectangle tool.

Or else, is there maybe a pressure sensitivity setting that might be adjusted?
