i'm very newbie, has no basic about vector, etc, but i want to learn
i'm try to create half circle with Inkscape, but my end of half circle looks skewed
you can see in my attachment image.



how to achieve even at the end of circle? so its would be perfect half circle

maybe this image would makes more sense with i want to achieve, as you can see, end of the circle (RED) seems not even so there's a gap with horizontal line (BLUE)
how to make it really even so there's no gap anymore

Hhmmmm, well I guess in some ways, it depends on how you made the half-circle to begin with. For example, is that a wide red stroked (open) path? Or is it a closed path, filled with red. If it's a closed path, you could just drag those 2 outer corner nodes (use a grid/guide, to make precisely horizontal).

Ignoring how you made that example though, there are a few different ways to draw something like that. But before I write out step by step for some of those, I'd probably want to know if it matters to you how it's done. So does it matter? After you draw the half circle, what do you plan to do next? Or what is your ultimate goal? Depending on your goal, it might matter whether you do it as an open stroked path, or as a closed filled path.
