My text is going to the left of the cursor instead of the right, how can I fix this?

If you're using Inkscape 0.92.3:
- switch to text tool (select the T icon on the left)
- in the tool controls bar, below the menu, look on the far right. There is a dropdown at the end. Click on it and select another value for 'text direction'.

Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
