too many nodes ...

Postby geon » Mon May 31, 2010 10:07 pm

Hi,

I create rectangle, use Object to path, and in each corner I got 2 nodes. Is it somehow possible to get just 1 not in each corner?

And second thing: not sure how to do it precisely: sometimes I catch the node (when click by mouse), sometimes caching handels. How to make sure I catch just the nodes?

Thank you.

Inkscape will create 2 nodes per corner if the corners have been rounded using the rounded corners setting, even if this is not very visible by eye. Simple select the "make corners sharp" option from the :tool_rectangle: toolbar.

As for not selecting the handles, you can turn the handles off from the :tool_node: toolbar, the "show handles" option, although I still have the same problem.
