Hi to all,
How would I move an object or group of objects between layers? Other commercial layers allow you to select a layer and then right click on the obects and" send to layer."How would I acheive that in inkscape. All help greatly appreciated.

There are keyboard shortcuts Shift + Up and Shift + Dn, you can also cut the objects, change layer and then choose Paste in Place Ctrl + Alt + V.
