What about porting Inkscape interface to Qt? Current interface looks ugly in KDE...

I agree with you, especially the Qt interface will save more space for more objects because it's tiny also it's cute.

This will never happen. Here are the reasons.
1. All UI code is GTK. Rewriting it would take several years and bring absolutely no gain to the user community.
2. GTK is entirely sufficient for Inkscape's needs.
3. If you want Qt rather than new features, there are other vector editors you can use.
4. There's a GTK widget engine that uses native Qt widgets. When you install it and enable it, most GTK apps will blend perfectly with Qt apps.
