Pencil tool only makes semi circles

Pencil tool only makes semi circles

Whenever i try to draw a curve with the pencil tool, it makes it into this big ass ugly semi circle, Why?

Make sure the tool is in normal mode and not switched to spiro mode.

Afraid that did nothing, now it is only creating super thin straight lines that i can't change the width of or a massive circle which is like 10x the size of the canvas

Also make sure 'Shape' is set to 'None'.
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
