[solved] Intersecting 2 Objects

Postby eninja » Sat Nov 17, 2007 3:38 pm

Hello all.

I have 2 objects:

I'm trying to intersect them to look something similar to this:

I have tried selecting them and using Path -> Intersection , but I do not get any results. I'm very new to inkscape, and I'm sure I'm missing something very simple.

Clip or Mask ;)

Position the splatter object over the stripes, select them both and choose Object > Clip > Set

Or Object > Mask > Set but for masking to work your splatter should be filled with white. If you leave it black you'll end up with invisible object
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt

Object > Clip > Set worked perfectly.

Thanks a million =)
