Hallo.
When I choose File->Print ,is there a way to set the default, on the tab "Rendering" , Bitmap 300 dpi, instead to change manually, every time I need to print from vector to bitmap 300 dpi?
thanks for your help.

File->Print->Rendering->Bitmap Default?
Re: File->Print->Rendering->Bitmap Default?
What os are you using? What kind of printer?
I'm on Windows XP, and don't see any options available to set a particular dpi for the default. I don't know if other os might offer such? Also I don't know a whole lot about printers and printing, so I don't know if a printer itself might offer dpi settings? Although unless it was a printer dedicated only for your particular use, you probably wouldn't want to change the default.
I did find a setting in Inkscape Preferences > Bitmap > Resolution for Create Bitmap Copy (which I believe is found in the Edit menu). Maybe that would work for you? Although note that if you change it then you would have to manually reset it, in instances where you don't want such a high res.
Rather than make the vector to bitmap change at the printing level, another option might be to use File menu > Export bitmap, where you can set the dpi in that dialog, which basically saves the image in PNG format. In my experience, once you change the dpi, it stays that way until you change it again.
I wish I could be more helpful about the printing, but I think you might find what you want in Inkscape, as I've mentioned.

Re: File->Print->Rendering->Bitmap Default?
Hallo.
I don't want to export into bmp, beacuse the original file are .eps
I use Windos XP and Inkscape 0.47.
In your menu you could find File->Print and you will see the label "Rendering" where you can change from "vector" to "bitmap" and setting the "dpi" to print in a better quality.
Here I would loke to set the default Rendering to bitmap instead to change every print.
Thanks.

Oh yes, yes, I found that. But I don't see any way to set a default dpi, or rather change the default. I was just offering the other options to maybe get what you want by a different route.

Have you tried it? I don't know for sure that EPS can't be exported to PNG. But you wouldn't lose your EPS file, you'd only gain the PNG bitmap.
I haven't ever used the Edit menu > Make a bitmap copy, but I assume it does something similar. Still worth a try, I think, if you haven't tried it already.
Just trying to think outside the box a little bit
