Rotation less then 90 degrees

Postby Mr Magoo » Thu Jul 12, 2018 12:44 am

I need to rotate objects for a number of degrees that I have chosen - such as 2 degrees. Is this possible in Inkscape?

Open the Object ‣ Transform dialog, then select the Rotate tab.

Increments can also be set in the preferences, if you wish to rotate using the rotate transform handles with the Ctrl-key.

Have a nice day.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1

The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

That's okay, we're generally happy to help anyone new to Inkscape. I would suggest reading some tutorials though. There are some built into the program under the Help menu, where you can also find a link to the official manual.

I also have a series of tutorials that run in Free Circle Magazine (free download). You can find them all listed on this page: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11981
