Hello, I am new to Inkscape and having a problem filling in a path I've created.

Here is my path:


I used Ctrl+K to combine all the smaller paths that make this path up into one path, but when I try to make the overall path have a solid filled in color, this is what I get:



How do I go about getting the path's "Fill" to completely fill the entire path, rather than just filling in the space beneath curves in my path?

You'll need to do some node editing. Use the Node tool and Join all the end nodes of the outer shape, so that it's all 1 unbroken path.
