Totaly n00b question here. I'm used to working in bitmap editors like photoshop and gimp. My wedding invitation is my first print project done in Inkscape... so this is all new to me.
I've designed my wedding invitations to have white font and a blueish background. I changed the background color in the "Document Properties." When I export the design to PDF or PNG, all that exports is the white text with a white background. The background color is lost.
How do I export my design with the appropriate background color? Any tips?
How to export to PDF with background color?
Re: How to export to PDF with background color?
Hi bigbags,
the background color's alpha value is not honoured while editing. You will need to set the alpha value to 100 percent in the document properties to have it export to png. You can also just create a rectangle of the color you need and put it into the background of your drawing.
