Hello,

I frequently open inkscape to draw some forms on top of images, like rectangles and circles. It's usually a red circle with 4px line thikness. Is there a way to save those preferences so that next time I open inkscape, the colors and line thikness are already set for me ?

You should go for Inkscape preferences / Tools / Shapes / Rectangle,Ellipse... and I believe you`ll find a way.
Either you`ll check Last used style or Take from selection (create a shape with desired preferences, select it and then Take from selection).
