I have just lost my work, can't load the picture no more. Wrong definition in file.
I have used a layer effect "multiply" over a line layer, other time I have used a plain
color layer under a line layer and no problem. This is the first time I have used layer effect multiply for all coloring.
So I wonder is the problem with the layer effect multiply in InkScape, or with the XML editor.
This is a preview of the picture, the final step I lost.
I have older progress step of the picture, so I can go back and fix it
InkScape 0,46/Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit
Wrong definition in file
Re: Wrong definition in file
Is "Wrong definition in file" the error that Inkscape gives when you open the SVG?
What exactly are the steps to reproduce: you change the layer to multiply, save, close Inkscape, open Inkscape, then you can't open the SVG?
If you can provide the SVG with the precise steps to reproduce, that would also be very useful.

I worked with multiply layer saved it, close Inkscape, open Inkscape the next day , then I can't open the SVG. And in the file manager the file don't have a thumbnail. And I cant open it in karbon14 either . I mention multiply layer because it was the only ting and XML editor that separate this image from earlier work. I did a other image in the same way and had no problem.

I have already fixed the things I lost in a earlier drawing. But if it is have a value for InkScape, I can send it. Let me know if you want it.
