I just had to share the good news: the latest Inkscape build r11265 (not the absolute latest, I know) saves the dialogs that you have on screen (and their positions too, if you have them undocked). This has often requested feature, and I am sure many like myself will greet it with pleasure!

I don't know about the others, but I'm more exited about 0.49 than any other release we had.

Aaahhh, well I'll have to wait for it in a stable release, since I don't have enough guts to use a dev version. But it will definitely be welcome, as will the new renderer
