blue about blue

Hi, I need to print some capital letters in a particular shade of blue,.html

I would start by checking the color profiles in both apps.

Now, that will only get you so far, since computers and printers are idiosyncratic making color rendition as much craft as science. Custom tweaking of your screen, palettes and profiles may be required to get you satisfaction.

Something like that, but on screen the colour looks ok, the problem is only when I print.

Not all of the screen colors are available on paper.
Check for a RGB and CMYK colors and their differences.

FWIW, I just printed two swatches from each program with the same hex color 0000BB, to my HP 400 color laser... no perceptible difference in color.

Colors are really difficult to work with in my opinion.
One is from Inkscape and one from Photoshop - same value : 0000BB

And they are both the same size - 300 x 300 px.
