[solved] Shapes won't render

Postby foodice11 » Mon Nov 28, 2016 3:32 pm

I'm having an issue where drawing a shape will only allow me to create what appears to be an empty bounding box. It is not affected by it's stroke and fill settings.
Simultaneously with this issue, raster Images, and any curve without a fill render just fine.
This is all within one layer.
The issue only appears with these: :tool_rectangle: :tool_3dbox: :tool_ellipse: :tool_star:

Hi.

Check the opacity, it is set to 0%.

(Confusingly inkscape has a bug of displaying 0% opacity value unrelated to your issue while it is rendering opaque objects.)

Here's a little article to help people find the source of the problem. Yes, I understand Lazur has already correctly identified your problem. But this is for other people who might be having a similar problem :D

Ah... well it worked. I was so focused on the alpha channel that I didn't even notice opacity.
