Hi there,
i run into trouble while printing with inkscape. I printed several things and afterwards noted that some printings are f*cked. Here a photograph of the printing next to inkscape:

I tried several things:
exporting to png and then printing
does not (or did not yet) work as it sets the printer margin different and so i lose a lot of the paper and the size of the printing (which is important) is just wrong. (maybe i need to try to print with something else then eog)
printing with rendering option "raster"
This ends up with a really pixelated image (even if i set it to 600 dpi)
redoing the part of the images that uses the dotted stroke
as the overall work are several pages and its just a fairly small part that is screwed i might just redo that part without useing dotted strokes and just hope the problem goes away.
While i think i will try the last option - anyone got another idea? I dont like to be forced to never use dotted strokes if i might ever think about priting it because my printer cant handle it.

Re: printing problem with dotted stroke
It looks like it's not scaling the dots correctly. I would actually try saving as PDF. If it looks right in the PDF then it will look right when you print the PDF.
Re: printing problem with dotted stroke
The dotted line looks ok in pdf but the pathes with gradients of the image where turned into crap
I'm redoing the thing right now
