Hi.
Sometimes I get two adjacent nodes that only have one handle and a flat straight path between them. Such nodes can't be made symmetric to gain a second handle, and when they're deleted they reduce a neighbouring node from two handles to one handle only.
How can I overcome this?
[solved] Have node with one handle, need two
Re: Have node with one handle, need two
Hi Anark,
I've noticed the same behavior with nodes. I can't explain why it works the way it does. But you can pull the 2nd handle out of a node by selecting the node, and then Shift + drag
I hope this info is helpful
All best.

Re: Have node with one handle, need two
Thanks -- I've seen this mentioned while looking for a solution, but it does nothing for me -- it just moves the node around.

Make sure the stroke attribute is on and a set the stoke to a color which contrasts with both the fill and the back ground colors. Then click and drag the line connecting the nodes that will pop out the handles. Yeah, it's more work but you can get the handles. And it will show you if the nodes are connected. If your path isn't a closed path and the two nodes aren't connected select and connected them.

Ah! Turning on the stroke revealed that I was dealing with two endnodes, so I just needed to join them up; problem solved. Thanks a lot!
