Copying problem
Copying problem
This is a problem that only started recently. I copied an old drawing and pasted into a new document. I then copied from that image, and pasted onto the same document. Although the original had no background color, the second copy always has a white background, so it can't be used the way I wanted to use it. Have I turned something on without knowing it? What can I do to eliminate the unwanted background.

Re: Copying problem
On a mac perchance?
Have a nice day.
I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

Thanx, Brynn. I'll try that tomorrow.
