Hi,
I am new to the world of design, icon making, etc. I do not know where to start so I am starting here.
I am trying to make an icon for a terminal application because I did not like the one that came with the icon set I use. I got the icon the way I wanted it, however, once I used it, it showed up with a green tint. The green tint only seems to show up when the icon is used by the OS to display (file manager program, bottom dock, etc.) however it the tint is not present when viewing the icon in the image viewer nor in Inkscape itself. I have attached a screenshot to display the effect and the icon itself.
I would like to remove this green tint effect. Please advise,
purpleflame

Re: Removing green tint from icon
Welcome aboard!
My best bet would be that's because the part in the svg is a text element.
Would try converting the object to path (Ctrl+Shift+C).
