In your snapping bar, snapping of text anchors and bounding box margins/corners is not switched on, but they need to be activated to be able to snap to the grid (which is activated). Just press the corresponding buttons in the snapping bar. The way how the snapping bar works has changed in 0.91 (see http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php ... 1#Snapping)

Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
