How can you get involved with the magazine?

I've wanted to do something like this for awhile. You can read my thoughts about it here and here

Well, i see your great plan about the zine. I like this!!
But i think it is a risk, cause you need many people to help you. They should be a part of it for a long time.
This is the reason why i made the Code:Free outweighing alone (with some nice helpers).
Some of us in Germany wanted to create a mag like code:free or your zine called "Whitespace".
But i`m the only one who really do this here.
So, if i can help you or you can help me we should do collaborate!!

BTW: I like your artworks too!!

Out of interest, do you have a release schedule or dedicated website for the magazine?

Well, i had an website but i give it up cause it was too much for one person. The domain ( www . codefree -mag .org) is not longer mine.
If we are enough members in the group, i`m sure someone can do the work on it.
Next days i start a document which contains a rough roadmap. Everyone in the group can add his ideas then.

Depending on what you want the website to do it could be fairly easy to maintain.

I feel it should be a sort of one-way communication channel. i.e. Show off new issues of the magazine and put out calls for participation. At least then you don't have to worry about moderating discussion so much.

Once the goals have been set out I'd be glad to help.

I'm not sure how much time I can set aside for this but I'd love to help with the website. Drupal (CMS) would be perfect for such a project as you can set up a lot of community based features fast.
