I'm relatively new to Inkscape and I am trying to 'hatch' an area. I tried modifying the fill as suggested in various locations, but that does not give a very good result, so looked around and discovered the Eggbot extension on the http://www.thingiverse.com website. I downloaded the eggbot_hatch.py and eggbot_hatch.inx files as advised and placed them in my /share/extension folder (I'm running Windows 8.1). However, I do not see the items in the menu. Am I missing something? I followed the instructions to the letter, but nothing appears.

Any thoughts?
