[solved] Have problem ater instalation

I down loaded inkscape and have icon on my sreen but when I click on it wants to reinstall it. What am I doing wrong.

Are you running Windows? If yes, try opening Inkscape through the 'Start' menu instead.

Sounds like your are running the installation file instead of the shortcut to the already installed software. Like DannyKing suggested, look for the shortcut in your start menu, and maybe move that other file so you don't get confused.
