.eps file format

Postby jmurphy166 » Fri Mar 06, 2009 7:55 am

Ok newbie question.
I have created a logo in Inkscape using text and an image. I save the file as an .eps and a .jpg. When trying to import into another package, using cutting software and a eps viewer, I get an invalid file format. If I create and save the same file from Corel as an .eps I can open it in my cutting software. Are there different save options for .eps that I am missing?

Try converting the fonts to paths and see if that makes a difference (Path > Object to Path)
