Dear forum members,
I'm creating an A2 size poster with a 10 mm grid and some rulers and company logo on it. I already solved my problem with the distorted patterned grid when saving to PDF with information from another topic. But there is still one problem I don't know how to solve. The poster got 4 rulers on it and the numbers on the ruler turn to blurry rectangles when saving to PDF. The fonts are already converted to paths.
These are my files:

When I print to PDF (using Bullzip) I get a small file with just a black area in the upper left corner. During creation there is a heavy (memory and processor) load on my system and I assume creation fails due to a resources problem. Something similar seems to happen when I try to print directly to the Canon plotter resulting in a file stuck in the print queue.
I am using Inkscape 0.91 r13725 on Windows 7 pro. Can somebody help me out?
Problem saving to PDF - fonts turn into blurry rectangles
Re: Problem saving to PDF - fonts turn into blurry rectangle
Hi.
Those numbers are rectangles masked with low resolution raster images.
Cleaning it up to pure vectors is a bit complicated.
Still, you can end up with a better file if you add a new text object and recreate the lettering from scratch -so it won't look pixelated.
