Hello,

I just downloaded Inkscape after doing a search for "graphics editors & eps"
I kind of like it so far, but I can not seem to find .EPS as an available option

Is there a way to Open/Edit .EPS vector graphics using Inkscape? and if
not, is there a system like Inkscape that will do this?

I am trying to be able to Open/Edit .EPS files, and save them as .PNG (or
other similar formats - I do not need to be able to save as .EPS)

If the images contain transparency, you''ll want to use File menu > Export Bitmap, to get the PNGs. If you use Save As Cairo png, you'll lose the transparency
