Hi, I have recently started using inkscape and it does almost everything I need for a project, however the icing on the cake would be the ability to program the mouse to do a specific action.
I know I can right click and select "duplicate", is it all possible to program the right click to automatically "duplicate" without having to scroll down and select it?
The reason is I need to continually select and duplicate items, so such a possibility would save a lot of work.
Regards Szaxe.

Re: mouse click
Hi.
With the left hand, use the Ctrl+D combination once you selected the object.
Also check this for more keyboard shortcuts.

Re: mouse click
Thanks Lazur URH and brynn I had seen these possibilities, but I wanted something that didn't require taking the selection away from the target or require using the keyboard.
Thanks also v1nce, these are more what I was looking for. I haven't had time to check them out yet, but the possibility to have a right click do a copy then paste looks interesting. This would allow me to also have a second window open and copy from the second window and paste into the first. I noted that you can't duplicate between windows with inkscape.
Information on anymore similar programs appreciated, especially if anyone has personal experience, such as possible virus or adware that may be embedded in some freeware programs. Thanks
