Links in PDFs created by Inkscape

Postby nick_h » Thu May 07, 2009 12:46 am

Is it possible to include clickable links in a PDF created by Inkscape? Links in Inkscape SVGs work fine in Firefox, but I can't get get them to work in PDFs. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I hope this isn't a FAQ, I've not had much luck in searching for a solution.

Regards, N.

I don't know about linking pdfs in inkscape, but you can do this easily in Scribus, a desktop publishing application which is a free software. You can import SVG file in it, link anything and then save as pdf.

Thanks for this, I'd forgotten about Scribus. Early days, but when I import an Inkscape SVG into Scribus and then export from Scribus to PDF the results are horrible (the jaggies!).
