How to apply a line-cap style to a “power stroke” path in Inkscape?
I have used the Power Stroke Inkscape extension to add a dynamic stroke width to my path.
However, I notice that the line-cap settings are greyed out and I can't seem to round the
stroke caps on the path with "Power stroke" applied.
Is there an alternative method/extension to round the line cap endings on Power Strokes?
(I want the curve to remain editable.)
Thanks!

Hi.
The greyed out settings are for stroke attributes -on your screenshot the objects have black fill and no strokes, so there is nothing to be set.
To round the powerstroke's start/end, use the lpe's settings.
(start cap, end cap:round)
Not entirely sure though, haven't seen those settings active in the fill and stroke panel you have.

Hi Lazur,
Thanks for your answer, though I don't follow... The Path is still a stroke, not a fill as far as I can tell as I'm using the power stroke extension... I have tried using the Marker endings in the stroke style dialog box but they either dont work or give unexpected results.
Where are the start cap/end cap settings in the live path effect settinsg? (Or where are these settings? ) Sorry for the newbishness.

Haha I'm so sorry Lazur!
I didn't realise I could simply scroll down to view more path effects settings for this extension! My bad!

Look at the bottom left corner: black fill, no stroke.
Powerstroke=/=stroke attribute.
Powerstroke=/=stroke attribute.

(just for others who see this: cloudbusting is using the development version. Those settings you see in the screenshot are not available in latest stable Inkscape 0.91 yet)
