The tooltips are not visible in Kubuntu. How can I make the tooltips visible? Tried for a screen shot, but would not show the empty tool tip box.

Hi John,
it may be that the box isn't really empty, it's just the color scheme that is problematic (i.e. the text color is the same as the background color). I know there are quite a few posts about this in many different web forums, but currently don't have time to find them again.
Search terms would be Kde / gtk / tooltip / color / invisible
