blending issue

Postby square » Sun Dec 18, 2016 12:52 pm

Hey Guys,

i just started using inkscape today and have come across a frustrating fundemental issue. For some reason the shapes I make always blend on top of one another, it cant seem to just sit on top. i will attach a picture to explain better. Sorry if my language is incorrect. please help.

In the attachment i simply want the blue square to sit on top the red shape not blend in between. how do i stop the blending from occuring?

okay the file is too large to attach but hopefully someone can still help.

Could it be that you have lowered the opacity of these objects?
Do you have two or more layers with some sort of blending enabled?

For starters...

Upload either your file or just a screenshot to some host and pass the link here. That could resolve the mystery and overcome the language barrier.
:tool_zoom: <<< click! - but, those with a cheaper tickets should go this way >>> :!:
