Impressive!
Have a nice day.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1

The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

Nice work!

If I have any comment, it's that there's no reflections within that rectangular scene area. It makes it look to me like that area is sort of recessed into the jar/bottle, or maybe even flat, rather than curved. Or maybe is supposed to be that way? Or possibly my browser's not displaying it properly?? (Firefox)

But really excellent work on the black surface and all the subtle lighting and shading!!

It's interesting how zoomed to 100%, some lines look completely sharp, but when you zoom in, it looks like there's a very slight blur! Or again....maybe my browser?? I might have to dl that, and inspect more closely.... :D

Thanks for comments.
Maybe the black rectangle on which are depicted the four men could be better affected by the light from left. There's anyway a light shadowing on the right to partially simulates the "rounding" of the image. Also I've curved both top and bottom sides of the rectangle to add a "curvy" stile.
I haven't had success in doing the same with the figures (a trace bitmap) due to excessive amount of nodes to curve for perspective. The amphora indeed was born as an exercise on perspective and Envelope extensions, the latter in particular. But having no satisfying results, I decide to only simulate the effect.
Not sure about your last comment, brynn, but the amphora outline has a general blur of 0,5, that gives it a boost in realism. I must admit I can have missed to apply the blur in some object, but it were 11.50pm and I became very tired. :-)
Well, back to work on amphora 1.1, then... ;-)
