How to create a joint between 2 objects

Postby taberg40 » Sun Aug 31, 2008 3:35 pm

Paris August 31st,

Dear Specialist.

Having discovered yesterday that Inkscape can be used for animation, I wonder whether there is a simple way of attaching two objects by a joint.

For instance you draw two matches, head opposite one another. Then you attach them by the clean end. Now when you pull one match by the head, the two objects act like a moving arm or leg.

This is just run of the mill stuff under Java,

As a rider, would anybody know where one can find “chicken wire skeletons” of humans so that one does not have to redraw the characters for animation? The chicken wire skeletons are somewhere on the net, they replace the old wooden jointed statues we used for drawing. But where?

I fear that I may have misused the word joint? Am I right?

With thanks

Nils

Joint sounds like the right word. Unfortunately you can't join objects as you've described.
