inkscape closed on its own
so i was working on something, and inkscape just closed. there was no, "this program is not responding," no prompt of any kind... nothing. just closed. i only lost about 30 minutes of work, and i was gonna save soon, but still, why did it close?

It closed because it could not process the last task you asked it to perform and the error condition did not meet the requirements for a message from the OS. It happens! If you know what it was that you last asked it to do some more info fom other users might be forthcoming, but please include your version no. and operating system
Your mind is what you think it is.

This is called a program crash. Things like these happen. Please do the following to prevent loss of work in the future:
1. Save early, save often.
2. Activate autosave in Edit > Preferences > Input/Output > Autosave
When you can reliably reproduce the crash, please write a bug report and post it at https://inkscape.org/report
