Printing a business card draft multiple times on a A4 sheet

Postby Belaya » Fri Mar 14, 2008 8:28 pm

Hello Inkscape users

I created a business card with size 85×55mm and opened it in an Inkscape document with the same dimensions. Now I'd like to print this card without having to multiply it first on a A4 sheet. Is there a possibibity to tell Inkscape that it has to print the 85x45mm draft in two columns and 6 rows, so that there will be 12 cards printed on a A4 sheet?

Thank you for your help!

Normally I would think to do this at the printer setup menu when printing. I don't know of any way to get inkscape to do this automatically, but it's easy enough to clone your design in the exact manner that you want.

I would look at Scribus for printing multiple copies if you don't want to manually clone the card in Inkscape. I assume Scribus would be able to do it.
