Hello,

I have some issues getting the pressure sensitivity of my graphics tablet to work. These are my system specifications:

Win 10 64 bit
Inkscape 0.92.3 64 bit
Huion 1060 Pro Graphics Tablet (newest driver)

As I watched some tutorials and videos I tried the following things on the freshly installed Inkscape:
In "Edit > Preferences > Input / Output > Input Devices" , I activated the option "Use pressure-sensitive tablet (requires restart)" and restarted Inkscape
In "Edit > Input devices" I tried to set the Mode of the "Pressure Stylus", "Tablet Puck" and "Eraser" to "Screen", however it seems to always switch back to "Disabled", even after klicking "Save" for every option I changed. The option "Use pressure-sensitive tablet (requires restart)" is checked.

After restarting Inkscape and the computer several times, pressure sensitivity still does not seem to work with the "Freehand" and "Calligraphy"-Tool. It works with other programs like Gimp just fine.

Is there something I need to further configure?

So,

it seems that I have found a workaround.

I deactivated the option "activate Windows Ink" under "digital Pen" in the driver program of the Huion.
Then I startet Inkscape by using the pen as a mouse.
From here, I navigated to "Edit" > "Input Devices" and set the mode of everyting apart of "HUION Tablet" to "Screen" (note that Inkscape now keeps the changes) , saved and restarted Inkscape.

After doing this, pressure sensitivity works with the Calligraphy tool. As a result, this topic can be closed.

As a beginner, my next step is now to figure out the Freehand tool

The Freehand tool does not have pressure sensitivity (yet - in the next major version, it has optional pressure sensitivity).
