Hello!

I'm new to Inkscape, and I find it less intuitive than Illustrator. I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm making a series of images to be displayed in a Java applet. When I save the svg file to png, the resolution is poor. A sample file is attached. How can I get better resolution?

Also, I have a font installed on my computer that doesn't show up in the list of available fonts in Inkscape. Is there any way I can use this font in Inkscape?

Have you tried PixelSnap extension? Extensions menu > Modify Path > PixelSnap
