Hello,

I am using 0.47 on a Mac and I am unable to copy paste text between Inkscape and any other application like Stickies. Basically, text must be typed inside Inkscape and retyped outside of Inkscape; is that so?

It appears that the solution is to change settings in the X11/ Preferences / Pasteboard menu

Inkscape FAQ ( Copying and pasting in Inkscape creates pixellated images instead of copying the vector objects )

If you change the X11 preferences according to the FAQ, to copy text between Inkscape (X11 clipboard) and OS X applications (OS X Pasteboard):

1. Copy text in Inkscape with toolbar icon, context menu, menu 'Edit > Copy' or Ctrl + C
2. Copy X11 clipboard contents to OS X pasteboard with OS X menu bar 'Edit > Copy' or Cmd + C
3. Paste text in OS X Application with menu 'Edit > Paste' or Cmd + V
