Well, I use this very similar to paint program (that is obviously much more easy, but not advanced), but Inkscape is very advanced also looks very simple at beginning.
I actually use this for creating designs for my website that I am creating, actually I am an IT teacher, so need to make website for my institution. For the design of the site, I use Inkscape...
